Role: Project Designer / Completed 2014

with GREC Architects

Spanning an entire city block in the heart of the West Loop, Porte consists of two towers of distinctly different interior characters, connected by a common podium with a rooftop amenity deck and a unified exterior expression.

Our partner, Chris Emens, was the lead architect responsible for the design and development of the building interior. Chris directed the selection of interior finishes; developed the lobbies and amenity spaces for each tower providing distinct identities and experiences while maintaining a unified whole; coordinated all building lighting; oversaw the development of construction documents for interior portion of the building, closely monitoring the documentation of Type-A and Type-B units.
