Millennium Tower is located in the heart of Boston’s Downtown Crossing, adjoining the historic Filene’s Department Store. The project adapts the existing Filene’s Burnham building for reuse as retail and office space, while the adjacent 60-story glass tower adds over 400 luxury residential units. Completed in 2017, the project is the tallest residential tower in Boston.

Our partner, Chris Emens, was the technical lead for complex facade elements, and a key member of tower curtain wall team. He also worked closely with the client and MEP engineers to design core and shell penthouse units, and locating the building services to allow for maximum design flexibility of future tenant build out.
